This course is designed to equip every person in the foundational Christian beliefs and how they should apply them to their personal lives in order to become more like Jesus Christ. Topics include, growing in the Spirit, spiritual disciplines, the Word, spiritual freedom and relationships with our community. The course will help you to move beyond the basics, to a greater appreciation of what Jesus has done for us. We look at some of the main beliefs of Christianity and work out how these can be applied today in our lives today.

This course provides a better understanding of how God made us and how our personal makeup applies to fulfilling our purpose in the local church. Topics include: having a serving heart, serving in God’s house, discovering your passions, gifts, talents, and personality. It explains how life-experiences and spiritual maturity play a role in where we serve. It also helps move participants to greater maturity and begins to equip them for ministry within the church. We look at how this can open doors here in our community, in Australia and overseas.

This course helps us to build relationships that ultimately lead people to Christ. Topics covered include: preparing yourself to be used, sharing the gospel, principles for effective witnessing, overcoming objections, building relationships, etc. The course helps us towards greater maturity and will deepen your faith in God. It includes practical teaching on how you can be used by God to bring healing, deliverance and ministry to people in need. An exciting course for every person.

This portion of the track system is the only one that is leadership in nature. This course includes a variety of different studies, offered in various settings, for the entire leadership of the church. Training is provided for further development in such areas as Connect group and departmental leadership, preaching, helping people through crises, missions, etc.

We encourage members of our church to build themselves up in their faith by learning more of God through formal studies. While not everyone will do this, we strongly support this type of personal development. Riverlands Training Centres offers a Diploma in Christian Studies. We also offer the opportunity to study for a Local Church Certificate IV, in cooperation with Southern Cross College. This course articulates into other awards, such as a Diploma in Theology and Bachelor in Theology (BTh).
